Gros Morne National Park is located on the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and Labrador.  If you are arriving in Newfoundland by taking the ferry from Nova Scotia, travel the Trans Canada Highway west, until you arrive at Deer Lake. From Deer Lake, travel Route 430 North.  Within 20 minutes, you will reach Wiltondale and the entrance to Gros Morne National Park. From Wiltondale, you can take Route 431 to the South End of the park.  In the South End of the park, you will find scenic Bonne Bay and the historic Tablelands. Make sure you travel through Trout River Gulch and on to the town of Trout River. From Deer Lake, the total traveling time to Trout River is approximately 1 hour.

You can also continue continue traveling North on Route 430.  After traveling through the mountains, you will come to the North End of the Park. Again you will see scenic Bonne Bay as well as Western Brook Fiord and Shallow Bay Beach. Enjoy the view of the ocean on your left and the mountains on your right as you drive along.  The total traveling time from Deer Lake to the North End of the park is approximately 1 hour 20 mins.
