Wiltondale

About 20 minutes after you leave Deer on Route 430 you will arrive at the tiny town of Wiltondale. It is in Wiltondale that you can continue on Route 430 to travel to the north end of Gros Morne National Park or take Route 431 to travel to the south end of the park.  In Wiltondale you will find an Interpretation and Registration Centre for the park. The knowledgeable staff will give you assistance and point you to attractions and accommodations of the park.

Wiltondale also boasts a  Pioneer Village which will bring you back in time to a Newfoundland settlement of the early 1900's. The Village has a restored old company house completely furnished Make sure you check out the craft shop, tea room and woodworking shed.
